Cheethams Metals has been a 00 gauge layout, a 009 layout and, possibly, finally a 1/32 (to 1/35th) layout, using 16.5mm gauge track (Gauge One, narrow gauge, G1n16.5?).

It has now been renamed "Cheethams Yard"

The baseboard, size 4 foot by 2 foot has been built using a sheet of MDF on 2" x " softwood frame. The track has been laid and the scenic embedding of the track has commenced.

One locomotive has been acquired and is a Simplex style diesel on a chassis that needs replacing.
