French Tramway

Also under construction is a French Tramway in 7mm, running on 16.5mm track gauge. It will be a simple roadside tramway terminus with a few simple buildings and a handful of vehicles. Two farmers chatting, whilst the local tram and goods train amble into the yard...
I've already acquired a 2CV van, a 1930s Citroen pick up, Renault lorry, a tram and a couple of steam locomotives...
The tram needs motorising and I'll probably use a Bachmann Bo-Bo unit for that. The two steam locomotives (both Springside whitemetal kits on Dapol 'Pug' chassis) need finishing...
and the vehicles need modifying to look like they're near 'Le scrapyard'...

UPDATE: I've now decided to use the original boards for McHale's Metals for this layout, as I'm building new boards for "Mackie's" - so the French layout now has four 4' x 1' boards using MDF on 3" x 1" softwood frames, so I can allow for bridges over streams, etc.
