PROTOTYPE: FAKE NARROW GAUGE TRACK!
In Trevor canal basin on the Llangollen canal, the refurbishment recently undertaken included a section of 'fake' narrow gauge track, no doubt a reference to the original narrow gauge tracks that led from the nearby chemical works (now Flexys, formerly Monsanto) to the canal.
The whole area nearby comprised of many chemical/toxic industrial factories at one time.
So, next time you have an odd bit of track, with points that no longer work, you've got a prototype use for it!
